A lot of people don't realize that environment plays a big role in how your skin looks and how it feels. If you're gonna go on a snow vacation, you need to have the right trips and tricks to make your skin look great. The first thing that I would suggest is don't bother exfoliating at all until you get home again. Exfoliation when your out skiing all day, it's just gonna irritate your skin. Your skin is gonna be overexposed to the elements in the first place and it's gonna be red and irritated anyway for being out skiing all day and exposed to the sun. So I wouldn't recommend doing any exfoliation. Take sunscreen.

That's a big tip. It's something that people don't think about when their skiing perhaps, but you're gonna get all of that reflected light off of the white snow the entire time you're outside. And if you're skiing 8 or 9 hours a day it's a disaster for your skin. So you wanna take plenty of sunscreen. Even though it might clog your pores, we can deal with that when you get home. My last tip, is bring a very soothing cream to use both day and night. Something that contains avocado oil that hydrates you, shay butter, chamomile, all of those types of ingredients really calm and sooth the skin.

So if you are getting read and enflamed from too much sun, too much dry air, and too much cold, those things will soothe it as you sleep at night when your bodies repairing itself. When you get home you can have a facial, get cleansed properly and get all that sunscreen out of your pores. And really recover from your vacation. But while you're away, soothing and sunscreen is the way to go.
