Exfoliation is something that women almost always get wrong. You're either over-doing it with too harsh products, or you're skipping it all together. Well, here's your exfoliation 101. The first thing that I would do is take a look at your skin. If your skin is a little bit red, or has dry patches, you're over-exfoliating. Whatever you're using, it's overwhelming for your skin, and you need to abandon it. What I would use, is a real gentle scrub, and maybe have a scrub that has some pineapple enzyme or some lactic acid. That way you're getting the dual action of exfoliating with something physical and something chemical. I know that pineapple enzyme isn't a chemical, but it's a non-physical agent.

Those two things, will help gently get off the dead skin cells, and allow for all the nice products that you put on your skin after to actually penetrate the skin. If you don't exfoliate, you're going to have sort of hard skin, and skin that even if you're putting a $10,000 cream on your face, it won't get in, it won't penetrate, and your skin will kind of look dull and lifeless. And I know that every woman really wants glowing skin. Exfoliation is something that you can do at home, and it's like having a mini-facial. You will look amazing when you're done exfoliating. You should really do it twice a week to make sure that you have a regular removal of dead skin cells, and that you are penetrating your ingredients properly into your skin. Try it, it's going to work for you.
