Hello, this is Ellen Goldberg and welcome to the Language of the Palm. In this segment, we're going to talk about what is palmistry. Well, palmistry is both an art and science. It's one of the oldest forms of psychology that was available to human beings because it didn't take long for people to figure out the things that were shapes and lines and signs on the hand were revealing the inter nature of the individual. Because it is science, if one is interested in human nature, anyone can learn to read the palm. The art comes in putting some of that information together emphasizing it sort of in a good way that a cook would read a recipe book, because you know the ingredients and you get feeling for what they might do if they're all together.

The hand is the proof to me that the higher forces did not just leave us in this world willingly without any information how things to figure all out for ourselves. No. The story of our life is right at our finger tips. I think they should teach palmistry in high school. Because it's meant to be a map. If you are a scientifically minded person, you could call the hand a map of the brain, and I like that very much. If you are spiritually oriented, then the hand maybe called God's road map. It shows us our talents, our strength or weaknesses, and what's coming up. How can it do that? Well, it's he subconscious that lights the lines. And subconscious mind is much stronger than the everyday conscious mind although the conscious mind likes to think it's the big deal but it's really this subconscious that is. In palmistry, when you learn palmistry, you'll learn how to work with subconscious and therefore you can have a beautiful interaction with what is written in palm and what you want to do about it. Do you know scientifically there are more nerves between hand and brain than any other part of the nerve system? Remember in biology class and they had those models, those clear models showing nerve system and you see how the nerve end in hands and feet. People are already quite familiar with foot acupressure and know that because those nerves end in feet.

By massaging the feet, by putting particular pressure and working them, you can reach almost any organ of the body. Well, it's same for the mind. Because the hand mind connection is the strongest in the body, not only are there more nerves between hand and brain as I've said than any other part of nerve system, but the hand and brain are made from the same stem cells in the [inaudible 03:15]. Well, there called the hand outside brain. So I invite you to explore more about palmistry and it is never ending fascinating subject, and I'll see you next time. Bye for now.
