Working the shoulders just to have your recipient get used to your touch, the heat helps to relax the body and again the same to the head and we want to engage your touch to the head. Instead of jabbing it's more of a slow introduction and it calms the recipient as well.
And you do gentle strokes in a circular motion not with your arms straight or rigid you want to engage your belly and making sure you are sitting in a comfortable position is very important as well that you are also relaxed as well.
And you just want to do circular motions just on the sides of the temple on both sides nice and slow. Just again introduction of your touch to the recipient.
