We are going to go over how to massage the shoulders as part of a head massage. It would be a good idea to incorporate a base oil you can use a ??, coconut oil, almond oil if nobody has nut allergies and you just want to put a small amount on your hands and incorporating the stroke, fanning out, and coming towards the neck. This is a nice warm up aspect of a head massage instead of going straight to the head you can work with shoulders and it is a wonderful way for the body to engage with your touch and also relax.
Again going towards the neck towards the back of the head if this is too much of a stroke for you to do you can always go slightly angled towards your shoulder and use both hands for better leverage you are trying to push the skin away nice and slow and bring it back towards the center. Again back towards the shoulder joint and towards the center and so if we were to use both hands again and back towards the center up the neck towards your ears and the head. Let's do this once more fanning out down towards the shoulder pulling towards you and up the neck. It is a really wonderful comprehensive stroke to the shoulders, the top of the shoulders, the neck, the back of the head all the way up to the top of the head.
And that is how you incorporate shoulders in the head massage.
