So how much the RAM the Play Station 4 has? The Play Station 4 has 8 GB of GDDR5 RAM. So real question is what is that mean. For most people, that doesn't mean much. The Play Station 4 is more powerful than Play Station 3 and that's all is going to matter. What it means is two things. It means that developers gonna have a lot more room to play with when they're developing games in the future.
And that's sort of this generalized promise that we're really not going to see until the year or two into the council cycle. What it also might mean is that they can give the Play Station 4 a longer life span. The Play Station 3 was seven year old system and by the six and seven year, you really started to see the age. And that was because it was technically limited by that point. But having this extra RAM, 16 times more RAM than the Play Station 3, it's very possible that the Play Station 4 can even have longer life span. So the Play Station 4 has 8 GB of GDDR5 RAM and we don't know for sure how that's going to impact games yet, we'll find out in a year or so. The one thing that we do know for sure is that it's not a bad thing.
