So what are my top five feared ab exercises? I would say the plank, it's basic and it's very effective. The side plank, same deal. Basic, very effective, anyone can really do this. There are progressions and modifications for everything. Cable chops. We demonstrated it today with medicine balls but it's very effective when you're doing it on the cable as well for your external and internal obliques. Four, the Janda sit up. Love the Janda sit up. Make sure your back stays flush against the ground and your breathing stays intact. And number five, windmills. Windmills are a great effective exercise also for the obliques, core stabilizing as well. Those are I would say my top five but I'm not limited to those as well.
I vary them up, I change my program up, and I mix it up to make sure I'm getting all the different parts of my core.
