How to Change the Desktop Picture on Your Mac

Hi. Lisa here. I'm going to show you how to change your desktop picture on your Mac. So, you want to go ahead and open up your System Preferences. And then you're going to look for the Desktop and Screen Saver icon on the first row. Once in here, you have the option of Desktop or Screen Saver.

So, we'll choose Desktop. And you can see here that Apple has their own Desktop Picture folder on your computer, and that's what all of these are. So, they're all options that you can use. Just by clicking on them, it will change what the actual desktop picture is. You can also choose to have solid colors as your background. You can choose to have pictures from iPhoto as your background, or any folder you have on your computer at all. So, once again, you can just click on Desktop Pictures or any of those folders, and then click on the desktop that you would like. That's it. That's how you change your desktop on the Mac.
