Hi, my name is Natalia Rose and today we're going to talk about whether fasting is healthy or if it's dangerous. Now it really comes to a couple of key questions you want to ask yourself. What is my physical state of health and what kind of fast am I doing because that's what's going to answer the question.
If you're in a very strong state of health, you'll be able to undertake a well planned, well thought out fast and have success. If you're not in the right physical state for it, it's not recommended that you undertake a fast at all of any kind.
Fasting basically means that you consume exclusively only one thing. So, for example, if you're doing a water fast you're only taking in water. If you're doing a juice fast you're only taking in juice. Now under the umbrella of a juice fast, you might choose to be on a vegetable juice fast rather than a fruit juice fast.
There are so many different kinds of fasting there's even something called dry fasting which is when you take in nothing at all. But you can do a fast on apples, you can do on pizza. Fast just means you're choosing one thing exclusively to focus on to consume.
In terms of whether a fast is going to be healthy or dangerous you need to look at what you're actually consuming and what your physical state is. I highly recommend juice fasting, I'm not...I don't typically recommend water fasting or dry fasting for most people.
But juice fasting with the right state of physical health can be extremely beneficial.
