When we talk about juicing vegetables, what we really want to remember is that the green leafies are what's going to deliver the chlorophyll and the life force more than any other. Focus on leafy greens, including chard, romaine, kale; all the leafy greens are great. Then, you want to consider adding volume to your juice because you're not going to generate a lot of juice from these dark, leafy greens. So, use cucumber and celery to bring volume to your juice. Then, for added depth, flavor, nuance, earthiness, and general taste experience, if you enjoy them, feel free to add carrots and beets. Feel free also to use lots of herbs in your juice. Cilantro and basil and mint make wonderful additions to juice.
