Instructions

• Step 1: Dial the local number, which generally has six to eight digits. That's it!
• FACT: Parents who divorce in Italy must supply their children with cell phone service as part of their maintenance payments.
• TIP: Italy is one of the few places where you do not drop the initial zero from the city code when dialing internationally.
• Step 2: Dial the city code, which is a zero followed by either one, two, or three digits.
• Step 3: Dial 39, Italy's country code.
• Step 4: Dial 011, the international access code.
