How To Look Sexy in Maternity Lingerie

Just because you're expecting a baby doesn't mean you can't be one hot mama.

Instructions

  • Step 1: Wear your new lingerie with attitude. If you still see yourself as a sexual being, your partner will, too.
  • FACT: On average, women said they needed to lose 36 pounds after giving birth, while their partners thought they only needed to shed about 27 pounds, according to one survey.
  • Step 2: Rock anything black – a negligee, a teddy, a camisole with tap pants, or even just a tight black tank top and a lacy thong. It wasn't so long ago that moms-to-be couldn't even find a black bra, but now many maternity manufacturers include the color in their lingerie lines.
  • Step 3: Splurge on matching, lace-trimmed maternity bra and panty sets in a variety of colors.
  • TIP: Step away from the granny panties! Many maternity collections now design thongs, bikinis, and boy shorts that fit comfortably below your baby bump.
  • Step 4: Wear stockings and garters, which are available in maternity sizes. Add a pair of high heels and you don't need anything else.
  • Step 5: Take advantage of your blossoming boobs with lingerie that accents the breasts, like a low-cut baby-doll with lace bodice and matching g-string.
